Insert molding bonding is a type of injection molding that is a bonding method to integrate metal and resin. By setting a wire mesh processed product in the mold and filling it with resin, the wire mesh processed product and the resin are directly bonded. It is mainly used in household appliances such as water heaters and in car engine oil filters. Additionally, since the material is resin, it can be processed into various shapes. A long filter measuring 1 meter in length is a product that showcases Bantech's technology.

We would like to introduce a case where we resolved the fraying of the wire mesh of a "metal filter with an outer diameter of φ6" to Company I, an overseas manufacturer of gas safety devices. The company expressed concerns that the debris from the wire mesh of our product might mix into the next process and inquired if it could be improved. Our technical department suggested changing the cutting direction of the wire mesh, and when we produced it with a diagonal cut, the occurrence of fraying was reduced, as anticipated by the technical department. [Case Study 4] Removal of welding discoloration by bright annealing

It has a beautiful finish, and there is no corrosion occurring from the burned areas even when used!

We received a request from an automotive parts manufacturer to improve the quality of their current products, and we would like to introduce a case study that solved the issues with mesh filters. The filter was made of welded wire mesh, but during the welding process, heat caused discoloration and oxidation, resulting in blackened areas. This discoloration not only affected the appearance but also raised concerns that if left unaddressed, corrosion could progress from the burned areas and erode the surrounding material. We proposed the removal of welding burn marks through bright annealing treatment. This successfully eliminated oxidation from the welded areas and maintained the durability and performance of the machinery.
